Wagon Reviews

I'm posting this here because I know you ladies are the wagon group!!! We are buying the babies a wagon for Christmas and trying to decide between the Step 2 and the Radio Flyer. Anyone have either and have thoughts to share - love them, hate them, etc.? Thanks so much for the help!!!

 

We have the Step 2 wagon and we all really love it. I got it last year on black friday at target. They have it again this year for $47.00..

 

I can only tell you about the Radio Flyer (Pathfinder), but we really like it. We don't use it all that much, because mine are still very content in the Mountain Buggy for long walks, but the wagon still comes in really handy for things like the zoo or a quick trip to the playground.

It steers pretty well and is fairly easy to pull (and I'm picky about both those things -- I hated our Maclaren stroller because I found it hard to steer). The seatbelts were very helpful when the girls were younger, though now I make them optional (but the kids still use them most of the time -- they just like being buckled in, weird kids). I thought the cupholders were silly when we bought it, but they are surprisingly useful, especially since there are 4 of them -- 2 for sippy cups, one for my water bottle, and one for whatever!

When I was making this decision, I also considered the ATV version of the Radio Flyer (I forget what it's called -- it has larger rubber wheels and a sunshade), but decided we were not going to use it that much and those extra features weren't worth it. I also didn't want to be dealing with possible flat tires, as we get enough of those with the Mountain Buggy.

We have the Radio Flyer (pathfinder model #2700) and LOVE it! They got it as a first birthday gift It's been a life saver and they love being pulled in it!

We did the same- Step Two at Target last black friday!! Love it also...

 

We also have the Radio Flyer Pathfinder. Very pleased with it!

 

radioflyer here... we like ours just fine. I can't think of anything that should be changed about it... I like the seat straps and the cupholders! The boys like playing with it in the house too! Just make sure you store it w/ the handle below, otherwise they'll bonk each other on the head with it!

 

We have the Radio Flyer pathfinder. We love it. The twins got it for their first Christmas and we still use it all the time. It is great for the beach, it was used constantly this summer.

 

Thanks all! What I'm hearing is that everyone loves their wagons, so we are making the right decision in getting one!

 

Another Radioflyer Pathfinder wagon owner here. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. I did look at some Step2 wagons and the wheels were made out of plastic instead of the rubber stuff that my wagons are made out of. That turned me off of the Step2 wagons. Not sure if they are all like that, or just the few I looked at.

 

we have the ultimate family wagon (although our canopy is flat not curved)...the twins got it for their first birthday also and it is indestructible and is a complete lifesaver!

Radio flyer pathfinder here... we like it when we use it, but I find it harder to pull them than push in the stroller (but thats just me being a wimp!).

 

We have the Radio Flyer Excursion and are as happy as can be. It has a little basket on the end which fits our cooler back pack perfectly. We love it.
