We had the little wading pools up til now; they finally cracked last summer. Plus, I think they were getting too small. Thing is, I don't have any grassy area to set one up & leave it. So I need one that's not too hard to dump out each time. Plus, I'll be hugely pg over the summer so can't really be too heavy. Any suggestions?

    tia! :)

How about a sprinkler instead? It sounds like with your pregnancy, dumping a huge play pool out might be too much work!

I was going to say the same thing. We have a Elmo mister that hooks to the hose, but much less water comes out compared to a regular sprinkler.

We had an inflatable wading pool. It is biggwr than the plastic pools, but not toodeep. It also has a plug for draining it at the bottom so you don't have to dump it. My kids don't like spinklers....

We switched to buckets and water blasters for our primary water activity (a tube with a handle that pulls the water into the tube and then you push the handle to jet the water). They pretend to be firemen, see how high they can shoot the water, blast targets, etc. I strictly prohibit shooting water at each other and they're at a good age now for following rules. Anyway, it's much more fun for them than the wading pool. We also have a slip & slide but the first year (age 3.75) I had to have them sit or lay down and then I'd give them a fling down it because they couldn't get the timing right to jump and slide. I'm hoping they get it this year but we haven't tried yet.

They don't really like the sprinkler so much. :( We have a Dora one & they're kind of scared of it, even though it barely puts out any water. Since the weather's been getting warm this week, they've just been turning the hose on & playing in the dog's water bucket. (yuck) I can't really let them do that b/c we're on a well & get very poor water supply. They could easily drain the tank.
