Waaaay overdue birth story and pictures

    Hi everyone,
    I'm sorry this is so late, but I haven't had much time to get on the computer these days. Our identical boys Ryan Austin and Liam Joseph were born on September 30 at 37 weeks. My water broke at 3:43am and my c-section occurred a few hours later. I went to L&D and the labor pains didn't really start until about an hour later... but when they came they were very strong! I was so tired from my pregnancy that I didn't know if I could handle the c-section and recovery. I didn't realize how tired I was until I started having pain and breaking down and crying because I didn't think I could do it. Well, I pulled through just fine. The amazing thing was that I could feel how much easier I could breathe as soon as they took one of the babies out! I actually have more energy now than I did when I was pregnant. I think that's because I am sleeping now and the babies aren't draining me as much by nursing as they were in utero.

    Ryan arrived at 5:58am weighing 6lb 3oz. Liam arrived at 6:00am weighing 6lb 10oz. They had no NICU time and came home with Mommy on October 4. They are both nursing very well, and I'm keeping up with them!

    Some good news for those of you who haven't given birth yet... I gained 66lbs during my pregnancy, and I have already lost 48 of them! I just hope I can get it all off.

    how sweet! i remember when mine were little angels like that :) enjoy all of the little moments... mine will be 2 in march and i swear i don't know where the time went...?
    they were such good weights and had no issues.... you are truly blessed
