Hi there. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced a return of m/s in the 2nd tri? This is my 3rd pregnancy. First one, nausea, no vomiting. Second, twin pregnancy, nausea & vomiting that went away after first tri. Third pregnancy, nausea & all day vomiting (5 or more times per day) until beginning of second tri so severe that I was on two meds to help keep some food down. Now, for the past 2 1/2 weeks, I am vomiting again, but only at night. I have found that if I eat anything at all after dinner time, I will get ill. Tonight, I ate something at 4:30pm and still got ill. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat either. Today, I was nauseous all day long. Maybe I should go back on meds to see if I can keep dinner down. So frustrating, just when I thought I was going to be feeling better, it was so short lived. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 I hope it gets better. I was one who never got sick at all during my pregnancies. I hope it is just a hiccup for you!

That is so miserable! I was very sick with my twins ... until 20 weeks ... I didn't vomit all that often ... just felt like I was going to all day every day except when I was sleeping. I vomited for the last time at 20 weeks and it never came back ... ARGH! I am so frustrated for you! Is it possible that you could have a bug of some sort? I guess not with the illness only being at night ... hmmmm ... oh I hope this new batch of sickies is short lived for you! I am so afraid that I will be very ill this time and I just don't know how people do it when they have kids to take care of ... at least when I was PG with the twins, I had to go to work, but when I came home I could go to sleep on the couch at 6PM if I wanted to ...

((((((big hugs)))))) to you and I hope you feel better soon!!!!!!!!!!

My sickness has been different with each pregnancy, ranging in severity and from morning to evening to all day sickness. But luckily none have lasted past 16 weeks. I know people who've had it come back though. I'm sorry you're suffering through this, and hope it's a very short-lived thing so you're feeling better soon!

The only thing that made me vomit was brushing my teeth...especially within 1/2 hour of eating, before everything started to digest... Is there something like that? You could also try varying your diet to see if there's a particular food that you're eating in the evening that sets you off. (Even if it was okay earlier in your pregnancy.)

Hang in there! and ask your doctor for help. No need to be a hero.
