Okay, I’m sure this isn’t as big a deal for all the expectant mothers… but for us father types who don't get to feel all the kicking...
Anyway I’m always excited when the babies are kicking and I can put my hand on my wife’s belly and feel the little kicks. It’s an affirmation that there really are little people in there. But the other evening the twins started kicking and we could SEE it! There they were, little pokes and protrusions clearly visible on my wife’s belly. I couldn’t resist the temptation to gently poke back a few times!

Anyway, just had to share (can we say ‘wicked cool’)

My son loves doing that when the girls are kicking! If I kinda feel them waking up, he will come over and start talking to them, they will immediately kick harder. He thinks this is pretty awesome!

Ahhhh! That's so great!! My husband is very excited about expecting twins but he is just not a rub my belly kind of guy. . .He will give me back rubs, etc, but gets a little freaked out about the babies moving around in my belly! I had the remote for the TV on my belly the other night when we were in bed watching TV and one of the babies kicked so hard the remote flew off my belly! He thought it was funny but is freaked out by it like I have aliens growing in me. . . He was the same with our son (who is 3) when I was pregnant with him. . .And its not that he thinks its disgusting or anything--he makes it very clear that he still loves me and my pregnant body, but just thinks the fact that you can feel the babies move on the outside is strange. . .Any other husbands like that?

i was actually sitting in church one day while prego with my twins, listening to the sermon and heard laughing. I looked over and my belly had an audience. There were about 6 people watching my tummy ripple and jump. LOL It is definitely very cool!
