Vent

I'm so mad and I have no one to vent to right now!!! Thank goodness for twinstuff...

So here goes...

Last Thursday, my DF called me at work around 3 to say he wrecked his car can I come get him. What a call, in those exact words none the less. I had ridden in to work that day with my friends so we all went to get him. I had to leave work early for this, which wasnt a big deal, but still. So we decided he would call in that day, he was fine but the car was pretty messed up, $4000 worth of damage!! Thank goodness for car insurance. Anyways, his stepmother has an extra vehicle that she had said we could use anytime we wanted or needed, which I have taken her up on once in 2 years! So Jay called that night and asked if he would be able to use the car. She said, oh yeah you can, no problem, but I need it back here by 5 at the latest. Jay works nights and I usually don't get out of work until 5-530. Her reason for not letting him borrow the jeep??? Becuase she needs to bring her dogs to the beach every day and that is how she gets them there and back. She lives about 1/2 a mile away from her precious beach. So now I have had to make my friend, who is a single mom who receives no child support from her ex drive me back and forth from work everyday this week. I know that she really doesn['t mind to do this, but I see her cringe when she puts gas in her car, but would never say anything about it. So even after explaining all this to his mother, she promises to help us out and is furious with his stepmother. So she arranged for him to use her mother-in-law's car (who is disabled and they keep the car just to get her to and from doctors appointments) That was no problem until today. Now he can['t use it. For whatever reason. We didn't even get an excuse for this one. But he will be able to use his stepfathers old plowing truck on Saturday, which is great, bc I have plans with my family for Friday, but to do that would have to drive 45 minutes. I won't ask them to come get us becuase I really like to hae my own way home, just in case. So now I have no way to go to my familys thing.

So now on top of everything else, Jay and I just got into a huge fight because I think its ridiculous that he refuses to say anything to his father about the way his stepmother is acting. It got worse, mainly because I am stuck here with the boys and god forbid something happens where I need to get them to the doctor or something I have to wait forever for someone to come and get us. I just feel like he is taking for granted the fact that he can just use my car. I have sacrificed all week long and I just am, mfrustrated. He was the one who was driving too fast on wet roads. I dunno I am just so mad right now, its probably good that Jay is at work and that my sister is here. I had to go into the other room and scream into a pillow....lol...

But anyway, I am just beyond frustrated. He was also told to go rent a car. Do you people not realize how expensive that is???? Like we have the extra cash. We are scrapping just to come up with the deductible!!

Hugs to you girl, it sounds like a tough time. Hang in there, I am SURE things will get better. Until then, vent away!!!

On another note, check with your insurance company about getting rental coverage added to your policy. I know it doesn't help now, but if this ever happens again in the future. My coverage was an additional $2 per month and covers a rental for 30 days should we get into an accident.

So sorry you are having such a lousy week. That is so frustrating when people offer help and then take it away for no good reason. I hope things get better soon!!! :hug99:

I am so sorry you are going through all this right now. Why do inlaws have to be like that? I really hate when someone says well I will help with such and such and they never do when you really need them too. I hope things get better for you soon.
