if you're a waxer, how long are you waiting to do your 'final' waxing? i am 35 weeks this week and anticipating that i can hang on a little more but i would like to try and wax at the last possible minute. :D

Hee hee. Thats a funny question. I'm an obsessive waxer so I will probably be worried about the same thing at your stage.

How are you delivering? Are you having a vaginal birth (which means -- SURPRISE!) or do you have a scheduled c-section? If vaginal, are you showing signs of impending labor?

I'm having a medically necessary c-section so I plan on waxing a day or two before my scheduled date (if I make it that far).

Good luck to you either way!!

So Im not a waxer and I could be wrong but Ive heard its alot more painful to be waxed 'down there" when you prgnant because of all the extra blood flow etc.

It is EXCRUTIATING!!! I am a brazilian waxer and I still go regularly even though I'm pregnant but it hurts sooooo much. I only just manage to survive because I go often enough that its over in about 10 minutes. I have to say though that I would not recommend it to someone who wasnt already addicted to the habit.

I do wonder why I bother now since I havent seen anything below my belly in over a month now. :)

its not bad at all - if you did it before you're pregnant, you are used to the pain. plus it also depends on the wax that they use.

I dont know -- I've been waxing every 4-5 weeks for years and I definitely noticed that the pain intensified once I was pregnant. In fact, that was one of my first indications that I was pregnant because the same thing happened to me last year when I was pregnant and later miscarried. I think it probably varies from person to person like anything else, but I would consider myself lucky if the pain didnt get worse for you. I'm jealous.
