Van and Finn are 5 weeks old already!

I can't believe the boys are already 5 weeks old. Time is flying! I still have 7 weeks left before I return to work. I'm not looking forward to that. I love having this time with them, but unfortunately I'm not able to be a stay at home mom. I honestly believe that I'm a better mom because I work. That's not to say that if given the opportunity I wouldn't be a stay at home mom, it's just not an option. Ava is still in daycare and doing great. She loves to go there and play with her friends, especially after a long holiday weekend We've been spending a lot of time at my sister Christian's house, which has been wonderful. Ava loves to spend time with her cousins and I love the distraction it provides her. My sister is very gracious to let us come and trash her house and eat all of her "snacks" I know she'd say she doesn't mind, but it's very nice none the less.

So, Van and Finn are doing great. I don't know how much they currently weigh (they were 5lbs9 and 6lbs9 at their 2 week check) but it feels like they've each gained at least a couple of pounds. They have their 6 week check next Thursday. They eat like champs and are beginning to have more awake time during the day. They wake every 3 hours during the night to eat and pretty much go right back to sleep once they've eaten. They're very good babies, just like Ava was. I feel very blessed.
