I packed the kiddos up today and was on my way to my mom's house (pushing them in the stroller) when all of a sudden, my wheel broke off!!! Can you imagine me trying to lift the back end of the stroller up, b/c thats where the wheel fell off, and trying to half push and half lift the stroller back home!? I do plan on writing evenflo a strongly worded letter, but in the meantime, I need a new stroller. I want something that is easy to turn with REAL swivel wheels and lightweight and side by side or stadium seating and VERY reasonably priced. Any suggestions?
:hug99: Girl, i have so been there... twice! I know how you feel!! This is the one I have now... Its great, but no baskets. Easy, cheap, small and reliable!! Its a great one if you just need something for now thats not expensive!!
We love our combi, but it wasn't cheap. Maybe you could buy a lightly used stroller on craigslist or ebay or local moms group?
I second the jeep - stinks that there are no baskets but THE PRICE WAS RIGHT!!! I just traveled with it and it stood up to gate checking. Some people have trouble getting it through doors but I don't find it to be a pain. If I had spent any more than $80 and couldn't fit through the door I would be mad but for running errands and getting it in and out of the car it has been great!
I bought a combi at a consignment sale for $50 on the last day!!! IT was half price that day and I showed up first thing that morning!!! But I LOVE my Valco Baby It is not cheap but it is INCREDIBLE!!!! I would rather use it any day over the combi!! I CAN STEER IT WITH ONE HAND, with all 3 kids in it!!!!!! We are right at the 94 lb total limit!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
honestly if i were going for a sbs with no baskets, i'd just go buy two umbrella strollers and buy the connectors...thats what we have. my stupid wheels on my ftb stroller fell off, too. I like being able to disconnect and make them single strollers when I have to.
