UTI - Cant sleep

Is any one else having problems with UTI's??? I never got them before and I have had 3 or 4 this pregnancy! This stinks! The pressure is so bad that I cant even sleep!! I can't wait to go to my Dr to get some pills and make this go away!!! Its driving me NUTS!!

 

Actually I had a UTI early on, I'm just suffering from horrible insomnia and pain since going on bed rest yesterday YUCK. So I also cant sleep even though its not from a UTI.

 

i had a uti that spread to my kidneys twice this pregnancy. the medicine really helps. i was so miserable!

 

I just had one and took macrobid. it worked.

 

Hope you get some meds soon, in the mean time drink as much cranberry juice and water as you possible can!

 

I am going to the Dr today! Hopefully i will not have another sleepless night! I dont think i have ever had one this bad before. Some one in there is pushing and punching my bladder also which makes it more lovely.
The nurse told me to drink at least 8 oz of water an hour. I am feeeling better now than last night. I couldnt even lay down i was in so much pain.

 

Im so sorry to hear that. What makes it worse with multiples the dr said is that you dont feel them when they come on...you usually notice when they get really bad. Thats because you are used to feeling so much pushing pain and pressure with twins already! Whats worse, by the time it becomes a bladder infection it can cause contractions which really freaked me out at 23 weeks!!!
