Uteris measuring?

For those of you between the 12 and 18 week marks how far up are your uteris's measureing? I know your supposed to measure bigger with twins than singletons. And at 20 weeks with a singleton it is at your belly button. I can't seem to figure out right where it's at. With my son I could follow it up every week but this time it's weird. And if it's where I think it is it's about a little under half way between my pelvic bone and belly button. My doctor doesn't measure until 24 weeks. I'm just wondering out of curiousitys sake. Thanks everyone.

 

i have no idea where i measuring at, but it has been above my belly button for a few weeks now. i know at 15W they were telling me i was the size of a 20 Weeker, but i dont know what that means. Sorry i couldnt be more help.

I think the average is to measure 3-4 weeks ahead. I did that pretty consistently, until recently. At 34 weeks I measured at 42 weeks, so that's like 8 weeks ahead!

 

I think the bigger you get, the difference increases. Like I was 29 weeks measuring 39 when I delivered, but when we found out it was twins I was 14 weeks, measuring 20.

 

I am at 18w4d and just had my gender scan. They didnt measure but they had the scanner probe about 2-3 inches above my belly button. I was shocked at how far up it was because I could have sworn it was lower.

 

At 16 weeks, I was measuring 20, and I could feel the top of my uterus right below my breastbone. I remember this distinctly because we didn't know it was twins yet, and I remember thinking I was huge! As time went on, I was measuring anywhere from 6-10 weeks ahead of where I actually was. The easiest way for me to find it was lying on my back, and starting at my breastbone, working down with my fingers until I felt it.

 

on the 30th of dec my OB was right in my bellybutton. I was too busy asking her questions to ask how far ahead they were measuring:lol:
