Okay, babies look fabulous!! Both are still girls, no we didn't have to check, that's what the results of the chromosomal checks a couple of weeks ago said. To bad, to sad for DH who was still secretly hoping that they we're boys. Baby A is currently weighing in at 10 oz and baby B is currently weighing in at 13 oz. The size difference had decreased from 26% to 19%. Fluid levels look really good, and all of both babies organs are clearly visible. Cervix/cerclage still feels really good according to the doctor.

I did find out a couple of things. I will be getting steroids shots first round will be at 29-30 weeks and the hopefully the second round will be at 32 weeks right before the girls are born. I'll probably be in the hospital from 29-30 weeks until the girls are born. And, we're planning a CS I'm sad because I really didn't want to have a section if I could avoid it but it's also the best bet for the safety of the girls. So whatever gets me my girls healthy and happy and here I'm fine with.

Another US next week, OB appt in 2 weeks with another US. NST's will be starting at 24 weeks (only 3 weeks away for those ) Gosh, and think about this. If the girls are born at 32 weeks that's only 10 weeks and 3 days away . We haven't scheduled the section yet, and won't until about 1 week before it's being done.

Jen, those are some GREAT updates!!!!! I'm glad you're getting such encouraging news this week. 24 weeks just getting so close and every week after that is a step closer to healthy baby girls. whew...i'm so tickled!

Sorry to hear that a c/s is in the future. I know it goes without saying that it will be 100% worth it, though.

are the docs planning on delivering by 32? why's that?

anyhow...great news! I hope your next appt is just as positive as this one :)

    Hi Donia,
My doctor really feels that pushing or least planning to push it past 32 weeks is risking it without it needing to be risked. I'm hoping that we'll be evualated alot at 32 weeks and hopefully push it a little further. With all my other history she's nervous to push it.

    hugs
    Jen

I am glad they are keeping a close eye on you and getting the steroid shots. The OB sounds very proactive, which is good!
