Urgent question

Ok, so I'm about 9 weeks pg with twins and noticed this morning that my usually white sticky discharge is pale brownish. I called my doctor's office and spoke with the doctor on call, and he said just to rest and call my regular doctor on monday, not much help, or very reassuring. I had a miscarrige in May of this year, so I'm a little freaked out by anything that seems unusual. Just wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar with their pregnany and if you think I should be worried enough to go to the emergancy room this weekend. Thanks!

 

Since the blood is brownish, that means it is old blood. So most likely not something to worry about. Of course, I say that without ever having been through the horrifying ordeal of a miscarriage. So hopefully others will weigh-in soon.

 

Oh, it doesn't even look like blood, it's the same consistancy as my usual discharge, and about the same amount, it's just a different color.

 

I had various shades of beige/tan/brown/green all through my first tri. I know many women report the same and its normal. Don't worry.

 

I think it is normal. If it keeps happening over the next few days or so you could call you OB for peace of mind.
