Yes, dumbfounded is the perfect word too!! the news has sunk in a little bit now and my next ultrasound should be in 8 days (week from tomorrow). I've had no negative symptoms such as bleeding. I am tired of course!

 

I saw your post on DST and am so totally excited for you!!! Twins really do run in your family!

Wow! God can do some amazing things, huh? Though we lost our first set, I'm one of those odd-balls who has had two sets of identical twins!! I will be praying for you.

Just an update.. a sad one, but necessary... I did lose one twin. Vanishing twins... sad, but at least I have a healthy baby still inside. Just wanted to let you know here! I'm doing fine. I will be out of town this weekend.

 

I know that must be bittersweet news. Very sad to have lost one, and so overjoyed to still have a miracle baby growing well. I hope you have a good weekend away, and continue to have a good pregnancy!

:hug99: I am so sorry you lost one of the babies. Miscarriage is just heartbreaking.

Hope your other little miracle continues to thrive, though! Take good care of yourself.

Jackie, I've been thinking about you since I saw your update at DST the other day. I hope you had a nice, relaxing weekend and that you're finding peace. You sound wonderful, though I realize it's impossible to tell through the internet. I sure adore you!

 

Jackie, So sorry to hear about the loss, but so happy your other little baby is thriving.

 

thanks everyone! I'm sorry I had to update Kristi's thread with such bad news, but the good news is that the other peanut was dancing a jig when we were getting measurements! Thanks again!

 

I am sorry to hear you lost a little one. So sad that vanishing twin is so common.

Hearing your story, I think if God gives me another pregnancy, I won't get an u/s till my second trimester. It must be hard to grieve while still carrying one baby. Then again, maybe I would find out because the good thing is that you were able to pray for that baby and give him/her tons of love!

 

I am glad I knew. WHen this child gets older, he/she will have something in common with Clayton and Audrey. They are all twins.
