Update

    I turned in my notice to work on Tuesday. Everything went really well. Everyone was very supportive and happy for me. Even the "witch" was very nice and even offered me contract work when everything calms down some. It went a lot better than expected, so I'm very glad. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.

    Brooke, that is such great news!! :Clap: They should be supportive, it's a personal decision. I'm happy things worked out better then you expected, who would have needed that extra stress? :hug99:

    Congratulations! And - you should also expect for this to be an adjustment for you, although you WANT to stay home with them; being with twinfants 24/7 can take its toll as well. I would highly recommend trying to build in SOME time for yourself - it's not easy (and i still haven't really managed it but i KNOW it's a good idea!). I just think that you should not be surprised if it can be challenging as well.

    I don't mean to be a buzzkill, i think it's WONDERFUL and as pp's said, enjoy the time because it will truly fly by!
