Well-mommy's instinct was right-Anthony needs more surgery. :( I have to call on Wednesday to get the date. I would rather just get it over with then to delay it longer and longer, so I said before the holidays. The kicker is DH is turning 30 on Dec 19th. I am having a surprise party for him on the 5th, and the weekend of his birthday I am hoping to go to the casino with him for the night... Timing is everything!

So-the Dr. looked at his penis and was very pleased with the results. He said everything looked great regarding the chordee(he had severe chordee-curvature of the penis). The hypospadias is what needs to be fixed again. Again-things look great. They just want the opening of the penis to be more at the tip-and it is not. It's not an issue right now, but he's afraid further on down the road, it will be. He said it was a tough call, and he had his partner come in and look and give his opinion as well. He too said it looked great, but he thought the opening needed to be more on the tip, vs the underside where it currently is. The Dr. said when he goes to pee, he'll pee on the toilet vs in the toilet.

As for his "adult" capabilities-all will be fine with that-and that's really my concern. Not that I want to think about my baby boy and that... LOL! But kids, relationships, etc-it's all good.

So-I have to go get some cream to have the skin grow/expand so they have something to work with...and then the surgery will be shortly after that... Fun times!

Thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts! I certainly do appreciate it!

That *and* being able to pee in the toilet without spraying on the floor!

Good for you and get it all done now so that way he doesn't remember it.

Thanks ladies! I remember his last one vividly! It was October 26th and I was about 6-7 weeks pregnant with Annabella. I went into the OR with Anthony and held him until he was out. He screamed and cried-it was just awful. I was crying my eyes out. And then, when in recovery, we were tucked in the corner and dh was giving Anthony juice or whatever it was, once he woke up. I nearly passed out from nausea and who knows what else. He was just so sad looking. And we get to do it all over again!
