Update! YAY!

Well I just about exhausted myself yesterday b/c I had my MFM appt and then my f/u OB appt (I'm on weekly with him now).

The babies look great, both almost 5 lbs each. MFM doc said they should be gaining 100 grams/ week and right now they're gaining around 200/week, then he laughed and said, you're doing a good job at fattening them up ... God knows I am, I feel like Pac-Man right now. I can't eat a lot in one sitting so it's eating a little A LOT, lol! He was a bit concerned with the swelling of my legs/feet and hands but my BP and protein levels are good. The one weird thing, that he said is normal, is that the swelling in my arms/hands has caused carpal tunnel in my right hand which is painful but yet makes my hand numb, if that makes any sense, lol. He said he doubted that I'd get to 37 weeks but we'll see.

When I went to my OB appt he said obviously everything is on tract and he's tentitively scheduling the c-section for August 16th (37 weeks for me)(which is awesome b/c that's also my best friend from grade school's birthday) It's awesome and scary at the same time, only 20 days away, but he said theres a possibility I could go into labor between now and then. I did throughly embarass myself when he said I could start having sex again, I screamed YAY and started clapping, lol (yeah I haven't been one of those without a drive during pregnancy, it's gotten worse actually) .... He and Marshall started laughing and said that the office next door probably heard me woop in elation over that! lol.

So I guess now I really need to get my butt in gear and get my hospital bag packed and at least the bases of the car seats in the truck, lol! Although Marshall's already said if I go into labor he's throwing me in the cruiser and going lights and sirens to the hospital ... so getting the truck ready maybe for not, lol!

Haha, have fun while you still can and have the energy . About the carpal tunnel thing, I read this in a pregnancy book and I used to do it when I started to feel my hands or fingers getting numb towards the end of the pregnancy. Lift your arms straigt towards to ceiling and make a fist and then release and again and again - do about 20-30 of these at least 3-4 times a day and you should notice a difference with the swelling as well. I hope this helps and my explanation wasn't too confusing. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy - it will be over before you know it, and then the real fun begins .

Haha! My doc was cracking up, said normally thats a husbands reaction not the pregnant wife ... Hey what can I say I always keep him guessing, lol

Woo on the green light!! I was an... eager? pregnant woman as well. And it can help speed up labor! I'm pretty positive that's what causes my ptl and delivery. So, get those bases installed, woman!

Stephanie I'll do it before anything starts, I've been cut off since 28 weeks, then the idea of having to wait from then till 6 weeks after birth and after him getting snipped, omg it was killing me!
