I got one of the dollar store HPT - which are so hysterical and much more than a dollar - but anyways and it was negative - which i expected, having the Mirena and all. I am thinking I will give it until the girls first birthday to work off the weight using my current excercise routine - running 15 mi/wk and yoga 2x/wk and I will really try to keep an eye on the sweets. If the weight wont budge or continues to increase, I am getting the IUD taken out and will switch to OCP - which never gave me trouble in the past. I got on the scale today and I am 2 lbs up from last week! Whats the point of working out, I may as well just sit on the couch and eat bon-bons. Anyways - thought some of you would be interested.
About the dollar store HPT - it was $4 and change for one test - compared to about $11 for two at the Rite AID - not too much of a savings. also - no early detection with the dollar store one - they tell you to wait until after you miss your pd. so probably not the best choice if you are ttc and axious to know.

I know, those last few lbs are killing me too. I run as well a few times a week, but do NOT watch my diet...something I never had to worry about before. Are you sure it's not just increased muscle tone (which weighs more than fat)?

Thanks for the update!! I was wondering what was up with you :) I'm glad you got it figured out, but it stinks that your IUD is making you gain weight!! <_< I would not be happy about that & it sounds like your working out enough!!! Anyways, I just wanted to stop by & say I'm glad you're not pregnant & hope you can lose that weight soon.
