update-still only 1heartbeat

hi. you might remember that last week i went for an u/s and they saw 2 sacs. sac a had a heartbeat and measured 6 weeks and 1 day. sac b measured 5 weeks and 2 days and had no heartbeat. she said she might have seen a yolk sac but wasnt sure.

today i am 7 weeks. baby a measured right on and had a strong heartbeat. baby b measured 5 weeks and 6 days and had no heartbeat. however, there was an obvious yolk sac, she wasnt sure if she could see something inside or not. why would it continue to develop if there were nothing there? is there still hope?

Sorry I don't know the answer, but I think that there is always hope. I hope that second sac has a heartbeat soon...Keep us informed

 

I wish I knew. When do you get checked again? I wouldn't give up hope yet.

When I went at 7 weeks, one of my sacs did not have a heartbeat yet. It wasn't until we went back at 9 weeks that we saw both.

I hope you get the outcome you are hoping for. Keep us updated.

I think the fact that there is a yolk sac and that its growing is a good sign. I'll be pulling for you!

thank you guys so much! i go back on friday. i was supposed to go back on monday, but they felt sorry for me and are letting me come in on friday. im not sure thats long enough, but i will be 7 1/2 weeks. i hope it is. i so want to see 2 blinking beans.

It could keep developing until it just doesn't anymore or it could just be a late bloomer! I've got my finger's crossed that you've got a late bloomer in there. I did. I conceived quads and while I did lose 2, the baby that they said I would lose is my Anthony

We didn't see a heartbeat until 7w 4d. Sounds like you saw one very early heartbeat and maybe next time you will see the other. I hope so. This must be so nervewracking.
