Update on us

Been in the hosp. since Friday the 29th due to pre-e. Specialist came in on Sat and told me that I need to stay here and have babies at 36 weeks. So Monday July 7th (day before my moms b-day that passed 13 years ago in Feb). My reg ob came in on Monday and told me that she also wouldnt let me go home until we have babies she told me she would do it sometime this week if I wanted to do the test to find out if their lungs was ready I told her I would just wait until I am 36 weeks.. I want as much time as we can get for them to stay. They said that i didnt need another ultrasound cause the last one I had almost 2 weeks ago babies a was 4#13 ozs and 4# 4 ozs..

Specialist said that if anytime they might have to have nicu time for a week then he said that they may just have to go down for some breathing treatments for 12 hours but then again they may need no time...

I can tell you that my dr's has been on her toes about this.. i did work up until Friday 29 the last part of 34 weeks and glad that i made it that far..


I will try to get on for an update after we get home next Thursday or Friday If I have them on Monday should be late Thursday night...

I cant wait for the day and I am scared to death

 

Good Luck!! Im glad they are keeping such a close eye on you. Being in the hospital is so hard, but its whats best for the babies. Have they given you the steroid shots for the babies lung development? I hope everything goes well, I can't wait to read your birth story!!

 

ya I got then the the the 1st 2 days of june.. Their lungs may have been ready to take them at 35 weeks but this gives me another week to put some weight on them... Laying up here is not fun at all when my boyfriend has to work and be home taking care of the other 2 boys... My four year old took it the hardest when he had to leave mommy but we told him when i come home we will have him 2 sisters...

 

I agree, being in the hospital is not easy at all, but it is best for the babies. I am glad they are watching you closely. Sounds like you will meet your babies soon.
