As in a PP I mentioned my car seats were delivered yesterday.

I put them in today and we ran some errands. They really like them. The old ones had the bar that came across the front, so its like new found freedom for them. I have a Chrysler Town and Country with bench seats. They fit right next to each other (just like my old Evenflo ones). Its a 2 seater bench, so there is no room for anything else, but they fit fine together.

Someone mentioned they have a Sienna, but I dont know much about the anatomy of the inside. They are wide seats, but I always planned on using the second row once the baby came. I figure I should put the baby in the back row and sit with her/him since the boys have a tendency to throw things on occasion.

These are the specs for those interested in the seat. As I mentioned they fit kids up to 100lbs. 5 Point harness until 65 pounds. I got them on sale at Albee baby for 99 each free shipping.

Your child will sink right in to our Apex 65 Booster Car Seat. Featuring extra deep sides for superior support and comfort and padded armrests, your child will think he’s king of the road!

    • Forward-facing 22-65 lbs with 5 Point Harness System and belt-positioning booster 40-100 lbs
    • 5-point harness system can be used up to 65 lbs
    • EPP energy absorbing foam
    • 4 harness heights
    • 3-position adjustable headrest for children up to 57” in height
    • 3 buckle locations
    • Extra-deep sides for comfort and support
    • Removable harness pads
    • Removable toddler insert for added comfort
    • Padded armrests
    • Up-front harness adjustment
    • Detachable cup holder
    • LATCH equipped for easy installation

It was very easy to install on my van. I have the latch system as well as the latches in the back for the tether strap. They look kind of small in them, because they were big in the other ones!

My boys are in big boy seats now!! I feel good that they are safe and secure...and for half the price of Britax. (I love Britax but they are high in price.)

glad to read this! at 38 lbs, Ethan is pushing the limits of his Safety 1st Intera (which we love) and the Apex is our plan for when he hits the 40lb mark!

Hi glad you like them and so do your boys. They are exactly my boys ages! But wow what big boys! Mine are only 27-28 lbs! So what is the height limit for the 5pts though? I.e. what is the torso height for the tallest shoulder strap? that is usually where the kiddos outgrow first rather than weight.I do not know any 65 lbers (or 50+ lbers) in a 5pt restraint still) as they are usually too tall. I know the Britax Marathon is 49" height limit.

This one has a 57 inch hight limit...the head rest is adjustable, and it goes high! My boys are about 34 lbs...they were also full term, so maybe thats the differnce?

Hi again. I think the 57" height limit is for using it as a belt only booster. I imagine the height limit for the 5pt restraint is less prolly about 49" or so. The top slot on the FP Safe voyage is 17 inches. And my 7+ year old girl can STILL fit into my boys Marathon!!! Does it say in the manual?

Oh and CONGRATS on the new baby!!! how easy one will seem after twins! I did it the wrong way singleton then twins LOL. :p
