*update* on my baby has the croup

Thanks so much for your supportive and informative messages. As it turns out we had a fairly quiet night. Nefeli woke up at about 11 with her nose all stuffy and coughing. DH cleaned out her nose and I held her for a little while and she settled down and slept the rest of the night without a peep. She was so quiet it freaked me out and I kept checking on her. So that was night #2. I guess I can relax a little bit now.
Pedi said she expected her to be significantly better by day 3. She still has some cough but nothing that lasts long. I tell her she sounds like the musicians of bremmen (anyone read that?)

I'm glad she's doing well. Today should be a lot easier on your mind!

 

I am glad she is doing better. Croup wasn't really bad for us at night, as far as sleep went. I always made sure they had a water sippy in bed with them in case they needed something to clear their throats.
