Update on Indira

I don't know how to put *update* on the existing post, sorry.

Indira came home from the hospital and has been doing well.

BUT.........

Indira woke up at 3am with a fever but it broke around 4am. Then around 10:30 she got another fever, gave her more tylenol. It just kept going up. We went to the dr.....another UTI! They sent of the culture so we don't know if it is the E. Coli again. She had to get an antibiotic shot in her muscle. We have to go back tomorrow at 3pm for another shot. Hopefully we can avoid the hospital again so please keep your fingers crossed for us.

 

Oh no! Poor baby girl! Fingers are crossed. :hug99: Update us as soon as you can.

 

Oh no! :hug99: I'm sorry that she has a UTI again, poor babygirl. :hug99: My fingers are definately crossed for her. Keep us updated.

Oh man!! I am so sorry to hear that she is not feeling well. Keep us posted when you can.

 

we got the urine culture back...E. Coli AGAIN!!!

They have no idea how she got it in the first place, let alone this time. I also had it twice! But I am so diligent about washing my hands and keeping stuff cleaned. It is just ridiculous. So frustrating too, if we don't figure out how we got it, then how will we prevent it from coming back?! And, my son and husband didn't get it, so why only us girls. I tell you the things women go through...but I digress.....

She will be on ab's for months to treat now and prevent later! It could be worse and at least she can be home and recover instead of in the hospital.

She is smiling more and talking and reaching milestones. Nothing slows her down.

I just need to work on getting her to sleep in the crib again!
