update on friend on bedrest

At 30 weeks and 2 days, my friend delivered a baby girl after having her water break at 28 weeks.

She weighs 3lbs 1oz and measures an impressive 17.5 inches long. I have not talked to her but I saw pictures and their little peanut is breathing on her own!

 

That is wonderful news. Although they have a rough patch of road ahead of them, it is great to know that she is doing so well. Thanks for the update.

 

What a special miracle!! I will be praying for strength for all!!!

 

I'm sure those extra 2 weeks she held off will really help the baby.

As they say, "no news is good news" and that is why Carepages has been silent for six days. Madeline may be holding out for an Oscar with this performance because she waited until her Grandparents arrived before unveiling her latest improvements. A hearing test was performed three days ago and Madeline received a "gold star" rating, an eye exam was performed two days ago and the ladies one floor below complained about an invasion of privacy (think Xray vision) and for her finale Madeline decided that her feeding tube was as useless as Chicago Cubs playoff tickets. Our little Maddy is almost 5 lbs, feeding from a bottle on every feed and within days of being sent home. Lori has set up Maddy's room and I haven't seen her this excited since the day she asked me out!!
