Update on appt

what a day today has been. I originally had an appt for 3pm today. Yesterday the office called and switched it to 9am then 30min. later switched it to 10am. Fine Whatever! I get there at 945 and at 1015 they call me back to the desk and say the dr wants an u/s before he sees you but she does not get here till 1pm. I said Im not going to come back and why was my appt even switched. no answer but the nurse says the ob will do the us. We at 1045 he finally gets there ( he was at the hospital for a delivery) comes in and says ok ill see you after your us..... WHATEVER.. so I leave and come back at 100pm.. the tech does the us but then says the dr wont be back until 3.. now im pi$$ed.... I said NO WAY am I coming back here for a 3rd time today. So I waited and he was back by 215 and I seen him...


ok sorry for the vent but I had to get it out.

During the US the tsch was acting funny and asking what the baby measured last time and I told her. I said he/she didnt grow did it? She said we'll see what the dr says. Then i said theres no heartbeat is there? and she said lets wait and see what the dr said. Right there I already knew I lost my baby and it sealed the deal when she asked me if i m/c before. Still she refused to tell me anything. it was after this they tried to send me home and wait for the dr to come back in.. YEAH RIGHT

So the dr comes in and he says did she tell you. and i said NO but i already know. and he went on to tell me its not my fault blah blah blah.. then he went on to tell me again what out next step could be and before he could get it out i said i want this done and over with. Its been 2 weeks and in my heart i knew I would never have this baby. In the office I never shed one tear.. I detached myself from this baby so much the last two weeks to prepare for that moment....

I was ok until i was on my home home from picking up the kids and I broke down.

I have a d&c tom afternoon.

thank you everyone that followed my posts and prayed for me and my baby.

She ( i think it was a girl) will be deeply missed. I know shes with my grandparents and they will take good care of her till we meet again.

I was alone but its ok. Dh had to work and my mom had the boys. I was ready for this today. I had 2 weeks to prepare for the news I "knew" I was going to get. But thanks for worrying (HUGS)

:hug99: Oh Nikki...I am SO sorry. I'm sitting here crying my eyeballs out remembering all the emotions I went through when I had my first m/c. The situation you've described is almost exactly what I went through and the day of my d&c was honestly one of the worst of my life. I will continue to pray for you. I know those precious little boys of yours will be a huge, much-needed distraction in the coming days and will also be a reminder of how blessed you are and I really hope that helps you get through this. My heart is just so sad for you. I can't imagine how hard today was for you. Thanks for sharing your personal story with us....I hope you know you have lots of support here.

:hug99: I am so sorry to hear all that you went through. I had a miscarriage in March. I completely understand where you are coming from. It is the most heartbreaking thing in the world. After my d&c I didn't want to talk to anyone or do anything. I just cried and felt very empty. If you want to talk, please let me know. God bless you and one of these days God will bless you again. I have been blessed with my twins this time. I went in for my ultrasound today and let me tell you, talk about nervous. I hope all is good for you and your family. Rest and find some joy in your children at home. Tell others you will let them know when you are ready to talk. Remember, this is you that it happened to. Your feelings are your feelings and you have a right to them and to not tell anyone anything until you are ready. :hug99:
