They did fine at the doctors office and half of the car ride home..then we got home and they ate and BAM, it was a nightmare. Ryleigh fussed but eventually fell asleep for 3 hours, then poor little Marleigh fussed, cried, fought sleep from 11 until 3- then she ate and passed out. Now, Ryleigh is being a fuss bucket. GEEZ! Not a fun experience. I've given tylenol, laid with them, etc, but they're just not happy.

Yeah, I remember those days with the twins. Evan never really reacted as like that. With us though, the twins always slept well on the nights of the shots. (they didn't otherwise.) Glad it went well at the clinic.

Sorry you've had such a rough day!!! MY Rylee and Liam both konked out after the shots even tho they were due to eat, then ate a little bit while we ate lunch out, and are now both sleeping again. They fussed a bit when we got home but once they fell asleep it hasn't been too bad.

I hope the rest of their day calms down a bit for you!!

Ugh! We have that to look forward to tomorrow. I am not excited...it seems like one or the other twin is always cranky in the afternoon/evening so I am thinking tomorrow should be so fun!

My DS reacted to the first set of shots at 2 months. He refused to eat, was pale all day and couldnt sleep. He didn´t cry but was very quiet and unresponsive. I felt for him. Even though we gave him baby paracetamol, he just wasn´t himself. This lasted for a couple of days then it passed. The good news is that he didnt suffer at all with the rest of the shots and DD didn´t even have any sort of reaction. I always give them the paracetamol on the day of the shots (after the appt) and for a day or 2 after just to be sure. Never had a problem. Hope your LOs are back on form asap.
