Ok So I contacted the store yesterday, the manager I got on the phone was just about speechless. He kept apologizing. He got my name so he could look up our transaction, and promised to call me back. I felt better. Eventhough I didn't really expect him to return my call. Well ...HE DID! and he said that he was sorry to inform be but the lady that was so incredibly unprofessional, and rude was the FRONT END MANAGER! Senior management review the tape and was appauled by her behavior. (several of their wives just happen to be pregnant as well) They did commend me on my self control and not giving it to her on the spot. They thanked me for bringing this to their attention and it would not be tolerated.

I do feel alot better....I hope next time to be able to open my mouth and put them in their place on the spot....but if not this worked too! LOL

Ok....I am still on mostly bedrest...I am allowed to get up and do little things, I go to Sunday school and yesterday even made it through half of church before we had to leave and come home. ( I don't get out much)

Saturday we had to go to Lowe's to get a new washer and dryer as our dryer broke last weekend. We were at the so called "Service Desk" The cashier of course asked, oh my when are you due? ( I am like here we go) I smiled and said February! (I am measuring at 42 weeks! I am also only 5' tall ) Her eyeballs about popped out of her head! She said "what are you having Twins??" "Yes we are having twins", I said with a smile. Then it started...."Do they run in your family?" my response "they do now!" her....."you weren't ARTIFICIALLY INSEMINATED WERE YOU?" :umm: huh??? what possessed her to ask me that? I said "these babies are an answered prayer from God!"
I am seriously considering calling their 1-800 number and asking them if they feel this is appropriate....we spent ALOT of money in there....and the more I think about it...the more aggervated I am. I think they just need to tell this cashier to shut up and work!

Thank you for letting me vent!

Good job, mama! Probably a quick comeback would have been more satisfying in the short run, but what you did is a step in making sure that these kind of behaviors change in the long run. I know it took some guts and time and energy on your part to get it resolved. :bow2:

That is so great they took your complaint seriously. (I am still in disbelief over how rude the lady was). Anyway...that was great customer service on their part...which they should do, should they want to keep your business, KWIM? I'm also glad you are feeling better about the whole thing...I know I would too ;)

WOW! That is appauling that a manager would not have the common sense to think before speaking! Seriously, a significant part of a manager's job is public relations!

I am so glad you said something! Not only does it make you feel better it will improve the service in the store! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :clapping:

It is quite sad when managers don't know the meaning of good customer service and it is great that you bought that to the attention of another manager. Customer service is important and noone deserves to be disrespected in any way shape or form. Hopefully she will learn a thing or two now.

Good for you for following up and calling. Folks are hesitant to "cause a problem" and speak up, but by doing so, a lot of times you spare the next person the thoughtless idiot would have said such rubbish to from having to deal with it. We should all be a bit more assertive in that kind of thing.
