UPDATE - Getting my tubes tied tomorrow

I am soo nervouse, excited at the same time but generally scared. my pregnancy w/ the kids did not go very well and we know we got lucky as sin, and don't want to take any more chances. My hubby was supposed to get this done... he hasn't so I made an appt and the big day is 2-morrow. Amy advise or words of experienec would help me out a lot. I am not scared that my tubes will be tied, I am just scared of surgery in general.

I had the surgery, all went well. It hurts a lot more than I expected. they wen through my belly button & my original C-Section scar. I will either go back to work Friday or Monday depending on how I feel. I am very happy that it is done and over with. Now I just can't wait for the pain to go away thank you for all the well wishes

I had mine done when the girls were 6 months old. It was actually super easy. A tiny bit sore for a day then thats it. Monthly torture, I found were heavier then I've ever had but then I only ever had 2 days worth before the twins.
And you'll want to sleep alot after you come home...gotta LOVE being put under...sleep!

 

good luck! I had mine done during C-sect so i can't differentiate the two.

Thank you ! I leav in about an hour to get it done - I am so scared of The IV which is silly because of the tatts and peiricings but it has been that way as long as I can remember - i am such a needle-phobe.. i am so nervouse i'm shaking.. i appreciate your support

 

I had mine done shortly after the twins 1st bday too. our sex life got alot better. now that i'm not on any birth control pills, my periods have gone back to being a little more painful than they used to be... surgery was fine. i did experience pain in the 1st 24 hrs and was glad to have it done on a weekend so that DH could help out. Wishing you the best.
