Update from the hospital bed

Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes from my post last night. My IV has been flushed and I'm in a high risk bed (much more comfy) now so I'm feeling human again. They even let me shower today!

My girls showed impressive heart rates through the night and day today with only one minor scare. We are still being watched closely with 3 NSTs a day, but not doing the constant 24 hour monitoring any longer. My bp has been better but we're still awaiting test results from the 24 hour urine catch for protein, so hopefully we'll have a clean bill of health on pre-e. All blood tests have been negative for infections, so we're beginning to rule things out though we're not sure yet why she is so much smaller.

I'm just so thankful that my little one continues to thrive and look good. Being here without DH is hard, but I know it's the best possible environment for my little pumpkins.

You sound like you are hanging in there and doing well! YAY for 27 weeks tomorrow!!! You are doing a great job. Your LO's are very lucky to have such a great Mommy. Glad they are keeping a close eye on you and your babies. Thanks for the update! :hug:

 

GREAT NEWS! I will keep praying for the best. I was on hospital bedrest for a month and I know it is very hard. You have a great attitude and that is HUGE. Best of luck!

Yeah! That's awsome. Keep up the good work momma! It's sounds like your in good spirits givin the situation. We're still prayin for ya. (Im sure that shower felt nice, hospitals have a way of "sticking" to you- icky). Just remember you want to breing 2 health girls home to your DH, I know how hard it is to miss him and want him with you, but you will be a BIG happy family when the time is right.

Youre doing a GREAT job. Hang in there... We are keeping our fingers crossed the 24hour test comes back clean. Im so glad to hear she is still hanging in there and doing better.
