**UPDATE** Baking together

We had such a great time baking together. Boy did we have a mess, Liberty was head to toe in batter. We luckily had enough to make the brownies. I showed them how I stirred it and let them have a try. Liberty took a hold of the spoon and tried with all her might to stir the batter. They both grabbed into the bowl and took out a nice big handful of batter. Yummy! I got some of the biggest smiles out of them. After we were done they got to play in the sink, which was the perfect end for them. I made a slide show of it if you all would like to look at a couple of messy monkeys. Thank you everyone for your advice, I think this was one of the best things we did together in awhile.

What fun! I am glad that it was worth it in the end, although I certainly would have been exhausted after the clean up! Multi-sensory experiences like that are so valuable for kids; kudos to you for jumping in and just going for it!!!
