    Yup, thats right!!!!.... $HIT!

What is it about breastmilk, or my breastmilk, that makes my girls $hit through EVERYTHING atleast once a day! I am talking poo-splosions!! I laugh it about (I still think bathroom humor is funny, I am a 12yr old boy at heart!) but it is getting a wee bit ridiculous. They are moving into a new size of clothes (3-6mo!! :clapping: ) and I dont want all their cute new outfits shitstained.
I just trying switching them to size 2 diapers thinking maybe if there was a little more room for it to go but nope still went right up the back! When my girls 'go' it is so forceful that I swear the diaper is going to blow right off!
Everytime I go out in public we end up do a naked show in some nasty public bathroom.

Is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a suggestion that I have overlooked?

LOL! I have been there and am so glad it has finally calmed down! I finally realized that the cute clothes are not worth it when they have their "assplosions" (as my husband calls them).

You can try a few things, like a size up in diapers for one think capacity. You can also add diaper covers like these http://cgi.ebay.com/GERBER-VINYL-PANTS-6-P...1QQcmdZViewItem, you can find them at any Walmart, Target or what ever store.
If all they are getting is breastmilk then the poo should not leave any stains!

Oh yeah, me too! Here is some required reading.

Mine both projectile pooped when they were tiny - a fire-hose of it onto the wall and door next to the changing table! How can all that poop come out of a 6 lb baby?

Just wait, when they start solids the mess will be a little more under control, but OH the smells!!!

At the Green Mountain Diaper website they say that some moms make milk that produces non-staining poop, and others make milk that produces staining poop. Isn't nature beautiful?

Damn I got some of the CUTEST outfits too! I am totally going to be playing dressup then photowhoring! :)

I just started using the size 2 diapers yesterday thinking the extra room would help but we had another explosion right up the back this morning.
I had not even thought of diaper covers. Maybe I'll try those. Thanks!

Just breastmilk and I have mustard colored stains on tons of clothes/onesies. I rinse their clothes immediately then soak them in cold water with dishwasher detergent (since that is supposed to break down protein and essentially thats all their poo is) until laundry day.

I am definitely going to have to read that!! Thank you.
My sister says my girls are going to get kicked out nursery school because they'll turn into puddles of giggles whenever some one farts or poops because thats what their mommy does! I still laugh when they're pooping or farting and its been 3 months! I'll never tire of it.

One time I thought Sofia was done so I was changing her and almost as soon as I unfastened the diaper she shot out once more and it went a good 5 feet! I had to clean it from the rug in front of my closet which is atleast 5 feet from the center of the changing table!!

Speaking of which.... Sofie is going now! *grunt, grunt* squirm

Here is a quote to whet your appetite: "An elephant makes a big poop. A mouse makes a tiny poop. A one-hump camel makes a one-hump poop, and a two-hump camel makes a two-hump poop. Only kidding!" I bet your babies will love the book too. I used to read it to mine whenever they hadn't pooped in days, and they'd usually have a blowout within an hour! Crazy!

I must have this variety of breastmilk, too, but I swear by Biz as a presoak. I use it just like you do dishwasher detergent and it works beautifully everytime...learned about it from a vintage clothing restorer, so it's supposed to be fine for delicates (so long as you rinse thorougly!)

The only thing I found that works is to wash the same day. And to steam clean carpet/walls/etc when my DH leaves that butt poised for action - really how can poop fly that far??

SAME PROBLEM HERE! we call them poosplosions and sharts (fart and sh*t). and i crack up everytime they poo and fart even if it's the middle of the night and i'm dead tired i laugh when they fart. even my ma is like, "aww go ahead and fart on grandma!" we're all about fart and poo jokes!

p.s. everyone poops is a great book lol but you also gotta get "the gas we pass" ... you KNOW i have that one!

You're all cracking me up! I guess mine had the non-staining variety of poop because their infant cloth diapers are pristine and I didn't do any bleaching or sun fading. The toddler diapers aren't so pretty.

I'll never forget Trevor loading his diaper up, DH making a big deal over changing it and as soon as he was clean, he opened fire on DH with both barrels blazing! DH was soooooo disgusted. So many stories to embarrass them later...

Have you tried switching diaper brands?? I noticed my kids would poop through some brands more than others...up the back. I used to be pretty good at catching them when they'd poop..holding them a certain way so it wouldn't go up the back... and then putting a wet wipe down the back of the diaper BEFORE laying them down to change it. They didn't like that trick too much (too cold on the back) but it would work! And yes...once you add a little rice cereal to their diet the poops will be more manageable! yay!!

My DD does this. It's gross.

Oxy Clean gets the stains out. I have the Oxy Clean spray that I spray on the item before I toss it into the laundry basket, that way the stain still comes out even if I don't get the load done that day.

I think "up the backers" are really just a phase we all must suffer through!! :D Once we started semi solid food it got a bunch better. Of course then you just get to deal with the smell!
