I am 37 weeks and my maternity underwear is adding to my misery, so I thought I would pass on some advice. I bought bikini and over-belly maternity underwear. They were fine until about 32 weeks. I can't get out to do shopping and wish I had bought some really large ones. I just took the scissors to the elastic in the hopes that I can get a little more rest. I get very little rest because I am just so big and uncomfortable, having panties that dig in to the skin just makes things worse. Even though I am a pre-pregnancy medium, I could really use some in plus sizes!

I'm at 23 weeks and I'm still wearing thong underwear. I'll wear them until I deliver if I can. I bought mine at Motherhood.
    :yahoo:
    Good luck.

Don't get grossed out, but... I actually stole a pair of my mothers panties!!!! :shok: They are much larger then mine and even being 26 wks they are still a little to big, but they feel so good!!! None of the stores locally cary mat panties so I've just been wearing my usual ones and they get so uncomfy. I really like the oversized one.

None of the places around here carry maternity underwear so I had to just keep buying bigger sizes in bikinis. I'm now a size 8 which for some reason is the biggest that hanes sells at all of our stores in bikini. Good thing I'm close to delivering or else I would have to start going comando!

Underwear has been such a concern for me cos I just can't seem to get the right cutting/size!! Those that used to be over the belly few weeks ago are now under the belly, and it doesn't help that it sits exactly on the recent scar I got from a cystectomy when I was 5 weeks pregnant!! I'm in agony! TMI - But I wish I can go without underwear!!

I got rid of the underwear after the third month. LOL Was so much easier just to go without.
Problem is that now I don't like wearing them either since I got spoiled during the pregnancy. LOL

Mee too! LOL I stopped wearing them at 26 weeks. I couldnt stand the elastic banding and I got depressed buying them cause they still wouldnt fit right.
