I am definitly no pro but I can say that I feel your pain. My DH and I went out to dinner on Friday night and we started with salads. After I ate my salad I started to feel terrible pains/pressure and I thought "this is it, I am in labor". I am 32+ weeks and have been having tons of braxton hicks but this felt completely different. DH, never one to panic, said "sounds like gas pains to me" and sure enough, a couple of minutes later I realized he was right. I said " if labor is worse than that searing knife I just had stabbing my insides I am going to be in trouble :)".

Sorry no advice but I do hope they go away soon. I would suggest paying close attention to what you are eating and see if there isn't a trigger for it.

I had it so bad for a while and trust me I know it sucks! It makes everything so uncomfortable. I talked to my doctor about it and he told me it was ok to take Phazyme, which helped me a lot!! I had never heard of it but they sell it at every drug store. I didn't have to use it for very long only a couple of weeks a few different times. A lot of it also has to do your diet, I have a tendency to eat things that aren't all that good for me sometimes ;)

Yuck! Sorry. Sounds awful. I didn't have gas too bad when pregnant so not much to offer except sympthy. Hope it gets better soon.

the only thing that I can say is to be very careful that it isn't a gall bladder issue... gas pain is a very common misdiagnosis for gb problems... if your pain is up near your rib cage then it could be your gb... I've been having a lot of digestive issues too... and I do think it might be my gb, since I had an attack back in feb before I was pg.. So I feel your pain regardless of where it is coming from....ugh...
