Hi all. As I posted before my twin Zach figured out how to get in and now OUT of his crib. I am not surprised figured the time was coming. So looking into toddler beds. But I want to be able to keep them both IN THEIR ROOM until I go get them. Anyone have a suggestion for a tall non climbable gate? or something else to do to keep them caged?

ETA: OHH and did you get the same toddler beds to save fighting? I LOVE the yellow beetle bug car bed but two wont fit well in their room. So might just get red/blue car beds. I saw some on craigslist for $50! Want to grab them before they are gone! TIA

    TIA :D

First off Congrats on keeping them in the cribs as long as you did. We were out of out cribs at 18m. I have not found a gate that they can not climb. So we took everything out of their room that they could hurt themselves on and closed the door. its only closed till they fall asleep then its open again b/c if they get out of during the night they come right to our room anyway.....

But if you want them in their room the only way I know how is it close the door....

    Good Luck

Oh as far as beds we bought 2 spiderman brds and they LOVE them!! but they switch beds often and sometimes sleep together..

Today I went in at nap time and about had a heart attack b/c I didnt see them right away. They were each sleeping under thier bed.

Mine haven't climbed out of the gate yet, but I think it is on the horizon. My girlfriend suggested I put one gate on top of the other gate in the doorway. Makes sense to me....

I don't know how feasable this suggestion is, but they used to make a thing called a "Dutch door' it's a door that will either close completely or you can keep the bottom shut and leave the top part of it open or visa versa and locking it somehow?
The two gate is a good suggestion too. Good luck.
"no nap today" that was cute. They're adorable aren't they?!

I have also heard of people using a screen door like you would put on your outside door. It would be one of the wooden ones. You can put a lock on the outside of the door and lock them in.
