Umm, what happened?

Oh man! We missed dance class and storytime for about a month because we were out of town, then it was school vacation, then I was ill, then we were out of town again.

The girls do very well (most of the time!) when we have activities. But last week at dance once was so disinterested and the other one kind of participated. This morning I pulled the "If you don't sit and listen to the story, we're leaving" at storytime, which I have never done before, and they both said "I want to go". :cry:

So...what are your thoughts:
Daylight savings craziness still?
Not used to the routine?
Closing in on 3?
Just one of those weeks?

 

I vote for a combination of DST and just one of those weeks! I know I'm still all messed up from DST!

:hug: Hopefully they get back into the swing of it!

 

Dunno...But I'd give it anther try and see what happens.

 

My guess would be somewhere between one of those weeks and just got out of the routine? :hug: :hug: Either way, I hope by Friday they'll be back on track with wanting to participate. :cry: And I know how much they really enjoy dance class.

 

I would say that they are just out of their routine and having one of those "adjustment" weeks. I too, would try again next week.

 

I agree with everyone else. I hope they start to enjoy it again once they get back into the routine.

Sometimes its the no routine situation, sometimes they just don't want to do things anymore. :hug: Sorry to hear they didn't want to stay. :cry: :hug: I would try it again.

Thanks ladies!! :grouphug: I do plan on continuing to take them and hope it was just because they were out of the routine. They LOVE dance, so that threw me for a loop and then when it happened today, I knew something was up. :umm:

My thoughts as well! My kids have their good days and bad... some days they are the perfect little listeners and other days we are that family in walmart you see with the kids going crazy!
