Ultrasound today!

So today is the day! At 4:30 I go for my ultrasound with the professional tech at 4:30! I am so excited-a bit nervous, but really excited. Yesterday I was looking for twin names. I will let everyone know how it goes!

I am sorry that I did not update sooner-I've been feeling kind of down and didn't want to talk much. I had the ultrasound yesterday and she only saw one baby. She said that she saw no evidence of twins. She said that she thought she saw what the gals saw on the first ultrasound-but that it wasn't anything to do with twins. It was just some kind of other sac that merges into the other as the baby gets bigger or something like that. What she pointed out didn't look a thing like what we saw on the other ultrasound. (and it looked like part of the sac the baby was in to me :unknw: ) She did the u/s the normal way (on my tummy) for a minute, and I couldn't believe how high she had the wand and was seeing the baby! Then she decided that a vaginal probe would be better so we switched to that.

I was very disappointed in the u/s over all. It didn't seem like she moved the wand around much-just seemed to stay near the baby. And I felt like she was really rushing everything-the pics she took were lousy and I just felt like she couldn't get us out fast enough. I would have liked to ask her to try my tummy again and look all around and just make sure, you know? But I didn't-I just felt so rushed.

So, apparently no twins this time. But we do have one healthy baby who's growing well, so that's a blessing. :wub:

I am sorry your appt did not go as you planned. It never feels good to be rushed and leave feeling like you didn't get the full experience. I am happy to hear that your baby looked good though
