ultrasound results!

Well, we had an ultrasound yesterday and found out we are soon to be the parents of 2 boys! Everything looked good and they are growing at an average weight--about 1 pound each--although I feel like they should be much heavier since I seem to be. Since these are our first and there are no girls in our family, I was kinda hoping for at least one, but the idea of 2 boys is growing on me. Now we just need to find names!

 

Congratulations on your BOYS!! :itwins_boys: I am also a first time mom and I am having identical boys. I am the exact same way, no girls on either side of the family so it really wasn't a big surprise although I thought I would like at least one girl. The idea of having two little boys has definitely grown on me throughout my pregnancy. I went with very traditional names it just seemed easier.

 

Congrats on boys... I have one boy and I love him dearly. We find out tomorrow what we are having...

Congratulations on your :itwins_boys: . I have two boys and it is so wonderful. I am now preg. with b/g twins and I am excited about finally having my girl, but everyone is telling me I should have watched what I asked for. Meaning that girls are harder to deal with. I guess I will find out soon enough! :laughing:

 

Congrats on your boys! They are so fun! I always imagined myself with 4 children, never 5; but if I knew that a #5 would be a boy I would definately go for it!

As a older mama once told me, "Boys always love their mama's, even when they are teenagers!".

Congrats!!! Sounds like great weights. Mine were almost a pound at 20 weeks, and they were measuring ahead ... and they continued to do, so it sounds perfect to me!

 

boys are great! I had b/g twins in addition to my other dd... and I can say that this time around if I had to have twins I was kind of hoping for two boys... for some reason I can see myself really liking id. twin boys.... Now I'm secretly hoping for a brother for my ds..but I'll take another girl if that's what God has planned... I can say this...boys and girls both have their separate but equal challenges.... but all of that in the balance, my ds is MUCH more affectionate toward me than my dd's.... He loves to hug and kiss me ALL the time...and I'm soaking it up now b/c I know it won't last forever!!

It took me a bit to get used to the fact that I was having :itwins_boys:
But I love them so much already and have grown very used to the idea. I'm excited to meet them and know they are "My boys" :icon_biggrin:
