    Hi Everyone!

We had our u/s yesterday to see heartbeats. Baby A measured 6wks 4days and hr 124...Baby B measured 6wks 3days and hr of 122.

10days ago at our last u/s they were both measuring 3days ahead...is all this normal? The Reproductive Endocrinologist discharged us and said all looks fine, but we won't have another u/s for a few weeks...

    Anyone been through this?

    THANKS!!!

I had my first one a little earlier and there wasn't heartbeats yet. Had to go back in 10 days and there was two!! Didn't have another ultrasound for 10 weeks. Both ultrasounds showed different dates. In fact, I have had 5 ultrasounds and the due dates change everytime!!

It sounds fine to me. It's still very early, but you saw both heartbeats and that is good. :)

That is great they could give you heartbeats. We just saw the flickers on the US screen, but didn't get actual #'s til about 16 weeks. My doctors told me anything in the 120 to 160 range was normal.

Your babies sound like they're doing great!!! I can't wait till my next one when we can actually hear the h/b. We only got to see it flicker on the screen at 6 weeks. They didn't even count the heartrate so you're doing fantastic!!! :)

Reb, it sounds normal. We had our first u/s at 6.5 weeks to {with the RE} and my twinks were not measuring the same either, but later on they caught up to each other, and then again grew at different rates. {not a rate that anyone was concerned about} The heartbeats look perfect for that age of gestation too!

    Hey Reb!!

My RE said that + or - 5 days of the actual date is fine. We know out EXACT dates due to IVF. I was 7.2 (7weeks & 2 days) at my last US and my twinkies were measuring:
    Baby A: 7weeks 1 day with 134bpm
    Baby B: 7weeks even with 145bpm

My RE also discharged me that day. He told me that I could stop one of the progesterones I was on and continue with the other until 6/7/09 (UGH!). I see him one more time on 6/9/08 for bloodwork. He did refer me to my OBGYN which I go to tomorrow. HOPEFULLY she'll want to do her own US.........just so I can take another peek!

Hang in there girlfriend!!! You're doing great!!!

    Smiles,
    Jen :give_rose:

We found out at 6w4d. They both measured 6w1d (the only day in their lives they actually measured behind but still well within the range). Their h/b were 130 and 117 bpm which was fine for the gestational age.

Once you have a h/b the chances for m/c go down to 5% instead of 20/25% (but I have been in that 5% once unfortunately but the twins did well!).

[SIZE=10pt]Sounds 'normal' to me. My two were always a day or two off of each other. HB's sound good too ~ ours were in the 140-150 range at 8 weeks.

    You're doing great!

    April :)
