    Perinatologist, or a fetal medicine specialist. They are doctors who specialize in higher-risk pregnancies, like a twin pregnancy. :D I never saw one but I know a lot of women do.

    Perinatal Specialist rock! They usually have 3d/4d ultrasound! Mine had it all on a big plasma screen tv!

    thanks! how do you find one? do you go thru your doctor? what do they do for you that your doctor doesn't do?

    and can i just say that everytime i'd see "peri" in forums, i'd think, "periadontist? what? no, that's teeth....." lol i'm a ditz. :p

    :rotflmbo: We have all been super-concerned about our teeth during our twin pregnancies!!!

    I was referred to my peri by my ob. :hug99:

    I think you get referred. I've never seen one either as I did not have any problems during my pregnancy. I believe they only refer you if you are considered a high-risk twin pregnancy.
