Uh, why did Pampers Cruisers change?

I just bought a new box of Swadders at Sam's Club last week. Same thing - size 3.

They have changed the designs on them AND I think they are smaller. It seems like the babies bottoms aren't covered all the way now. I feel like I bought a size 2, which of course I didn't. The box now has a little circle towards the bottom that says "3 way fit". That's new.

To top it off, DS leaked out of it last night. They go to 28 pounds, and he's close to 20. Ironic that when I switched to the different diaper, he leaked.

Anybody have these new design diapers? What do you think?

 

I thought Swaddlers only went up to size 2 and after that it was Cruisers. I loved the Swadders !! they worked great on my twins. When they outgrew the Swaddlers, I tried the Cruisers but they didn't work well for us. So I changed to the regular baby dry pampers. I don't think one can rely on the pound weight for the sizing of a diaper, I never have. I just go by what seems to cover their butt and can comfortably fit their waist, and of course that is not allowing leaking. You may have to just go up a size, also try the Huggies over nights, they are very absorbant for longer periods !!

 

Heh. Oops - I mean Cruisers. Why on earth did I say Swaddlers??? Blonde hair, missed my nap, mommy brain? Yes.

DS leaked through the diaper during the day. It just doesn't cover enough in the legs anymore and if goes to one side or the other, it's almost like us when our undies go up our booties a little, KWIM? :blush:

 

Call pampers and complain about it. I complained about something once and got tons of coupons for free diapers. Make sure you mention that you love thier diapers but are considering changing brands because of the size change

 

I thought it was just me! I noticed they are definitely smaller. They seem to be slightly wider, but shorter. Emma has a long torso and these diapers are now like a bikini fit for her! :laughing:

 

Hmm! I bought a box last week and just opened it this morning to restock supplies and noticed the change in the pattern. Haven't used them yet, I won't be happy if they are indeed smaller!

I also wish they made Swaddlers in the larger sizes, they were so soft!!!

We are Costco fans, and I share a Sam's membership mainly because of the Pampers!

 

So, I sent an email to Pampers after DS leaked through 3 nights in a row. I happened to have a Size 4 Baby Dry on hand and I put him in that last night. I didn't get any leaks but the diaper is HUGE.

Even my little petite daughter looks like she's in a bikini now.

I really don't have a choice but to switch. Maybe I'll try Baby Dry. Otherwise, here comes Huggieland at our house.

 

I thought I would never use Huggies. The swaddlers seemed so much softer then huggies when they were newborns. When we needed to get into cruisers, my boys had a reaction to them so we did huggies. I love them now! THey have never leaked and fit them really nice.

 

I've noticed this to. Another thing, the boxes say they fit up to a certain weight and my girls are skinny and still have to move up way ahead of the weight. :shrug:

 

There was an ad in the Target circular this weekend that says Cruisers are on clearance. If they are the old ones, I'm stocking up NOW! Otherwise, I think we'll move over to Huggies.
