i searched the internet but i cant find anything. i have a really bad cold and im SUPER stuffed up in the nose. im having a hard time breathing. so i had this nasal spray that helps so i looked it up and it said i could use afrin (this stuff is generic afrin). so i used it last night and just now, and now i find out i can only use SALINE afrin, and this stuff has oxymetazoline hydrochloride. whatever THAT is! it says on the back to consult a physician if pregnant or nursing... grr... anyone know if i really messed up?

I used it as directed by my Peri and I was fine.
You should be just fine. Just don't use it anymore..and call your doctor tomorrow morning. HUGS Brandy PS: I used Afrin when I was pregnant with my twins a couple of times..and they are healthy 4 yr old girls now.

Mucines just came out with a nose spray and I know that the Mucinex in the BLUE box is okay to use - so I wonder if that would work if they have the same active ingredients? HTH!
