Uh oh, I have a "little mommy" already!

Ivy has gotten so attentive to her brother. He woke up cranky, she told me to nurse him. I cleaned out his nose (they both have a rotten cold right now) and she observed, "Andrew don't like it." (Gosh, really? I hadn't noticed. ) He started whimpering and clinging, and Ivy said, "Andrew cranky. Andrew need syringe [=the one you use for ibuprofen]." (And she was right, it was almost time for more.)

Now if I could just get her to take over some of the diaper changes... :lol:

That's great that she is so tuned in to him already! I also love that she knows the word "syringe."

 

Soooo cute! My DD is the same way with DS. She will also tell me if he is poopy...(not yet potty trained)

I've always heard from people who have/know b/g twins that the girls are total little mommies to the boys. Don't know if this holds true for all b/g twins - but it sure seems like it is for a lot of them. How sweet!

Yes my 4yo thinks she is the mommy of the babies-she is always telling me what they need or I need to do...she is usually right! I wish she would change diapers too~

 

Oh adorable! I didn't really see that part of Audrey until Evan was about here... it was then she started nursing a doll & reading a book to her.

 

That is precious! :wub: About 6 months ago we gave the girls dolls that has toy bottles and they immediately tried to feed them.. Lately, when one dd cries, the other comes over and pats her on the head.
