i feel like i'm going to be pregnant forever. i can't really go anywhere because, you know, "just in case"... i wanted to go for a walk today, hoping to get things moving a little, but it was like 90 degrees today (REALLY hard to enjoy autumn and changing leaves when it's that hot) and wouldn't've been able to handle it. i just have major cabin fever and am sick of sitting on my *** all day. i'm hot and and everyone's asking me if the babies are here. if the babies were here, they would have heard about it already. i chased DH out of the house to go watch the Bears game with some friends... he's afraid to leave me alone, but i feel bad for him cuz he doesn't like to sit around, either.
    whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine whine whine.

    sigh.

I am SOOO with you on that one!!!! All I do is go on the computer all day or watch TV. I can't stand it anymore! I stopped working at 31 weeks(hoping to keep them in longer, and it was the start of the new school year, so easier on students/parents to get to know a new teacher right away and not have me leave mid month). So...here I've been for over 5 weeks now! I only leave to go to Dr. appts...or unless I go somewhere with dh. BORING! I feel like my life is at a standstill!!! But-we have to look on the bright side-and that is how far we've come with twins!

I'm 36 weeks 3 days right now...and in 10 days-they will be here! Preferably sooner so I don't have all this time to think about the c/s! :p

that's exactly what i've been saying: my life is at a standstill. and i've been off work since week 27. as much as i can say "i hate working!"... i really don't, because it keeps my life going, ya know? and my doctor's appts are my most excitement now lol... so sad!

OMG! I am so BORED! There is nothing on tv, and I cant go out alone. My house is as clean as it can possibly be, and I am vaccuming like every day 'to get things going'.... Its not working!
A few weeks ago everyone was so worried about my ptl, now I couldnt get them out if I pulled them out! They're acting like they own the place!

The phone/emails havent stopped with the 'did you have them yet?'.... um, yeah I had them but I didnt want to tell YOU! hahaha

I still cant believe that it is october and I still have my ac cranked, before this summer I never even liked ac!

My fingers are crossed for all of us! I am hoping for a productive week for us 35-36 weekers! We've come so far, but this is just pure torture!

i spent all day today watching the "Rock of Love with Brett Michaels" marathon... and i've already seen every episode before! i did miss the 3 and 4:00 episodes cuz DH took me out for a drive and then Dairy Queen. and, yeah, for them not having much room inmy belly, they sure do love to party in there!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! At 33 weeks, the Dr was worried about PTL and me getting through 5 days! Here I sit almost 4 weeks later and still pregnant! I'm not complaining by any means-and I haven't the whole pregnancy! It's just now at the point where I can't wait to meet them and the anxiety is getting to me! Talk about STIR CRAZY!!

And me too-the Dr appts are the HIGHLIGHT of my week! LOL! 3 appts/week-can't go wrong with that! Except I don't have mine this week until Wednesday and Friday...Make the week even longer...UGH!

As for the heat-yep-we took the AC out of our window because it was like 40 degrees at night! FREEZING! Then of course 2 days later...It's 90 degrees! And a scorcher in my bedroom! Luckily it's cooler today...I can't take it!

Oh-someone else mentioned no room in the belly-NO KIDDING! After watching the u/s on Thursday I wondered how they could still be moving around in there! Well-I've come to the conclusion that they are practicing karate, gymnastics, AND soccer all at the same time! They are more active NOW then ever before! LOL!

Hi, My name is April - I'm new here and am almost 34 weeks with B/B twins. I took myself out of work about 2 weeks ago, b/c it was just so hard to get in and out of the car and walk to the door of where I was going in. (My work requires a lot of driving). I am suffering from all the same things you ladies are. Dr. Appt highlight of the week, bored, bored, computer or TV, baby storied to death... I look in the mirror and think, WOW how did I age 10 years in such a short amount of time. I am taking one simply sleep at night to help me get a couple hours of sleep. (Dr said it was fine, he'd rather I sleep some than not at all) I don't know about you girls, but I have been having a terrible time with carpal tunnel, my fingers on both hands are numb 24/7 and hurt tremendously at night when I lay down, I am wearing wrist splints that help with the pain some, just not the numbness. My c-section is scheduled for 10/31 @ 37 weeks, unless of course I go into labor on my own before then. I don't want them to come just yet, maybe another 2 weeks....but I think by 10/31 they will have to wheel me into the hospital, b/c I don't know how I will walk! Sorry for the long whine, but it's nice to get it out to those who know what I am going through. :pardon:

I totall relate to be being bored and feeling like life is on hold for the moment. HOWEVER, I am also aware that it is going to be so incredibly crazy when the twins arrive and let's not even get into the sleepless nights. SO, enjoy the down time while you can. Read some books, take it all in....your life will probably have next to no down time once the little ones arrive.

You are doing GREAT!!! I know it's hard and sucks to be a shut in! Time to go shopping to Babies R Us!!! :)

I'm just happy you made it this extra time. I know it's unbelievable that anyone ever goes 40 weeks (yes, we had it happen when I was in expecting) so imagine going 5 more weeks vs. 1 or 2!!! I know you are hating it right now, but I am so proud of you! 8P  :spiteful:

My belly has dropped so low (both are head down now) that I can hardly get up or down! It's so sore! I'm starting to really want these little girls out! Another week and a half and I'm thinking of starting to try and get myself to go into labor. :winking0009:

OMG, all my thoughts exactly. Both girls are head down and pushing into my pelvic cavity! I keep telling them they are not coming out that way but they won't move! I feel like Im trying to hold bowling balls in my belly. My highlite of the week is also NST's and Doc.s appt. On Bedrest for 3+ weeks now, so sick of tv and yes, this computer too. and:

IM SO SO SO SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT BRITNEY SPEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also watched the Rock of Love marathon. It was sooo funny. I love watching trampy women getting really drunk and making fools of themselves. ha ha ah aha hah!

Not much left to do, I've read a million books, to top it off, all the baby shows are off the air now! The fall schedule sucks. I can't watch Trading Spaces and Medical Miracle all day!!! They have no idea how this has disrupted my bedrest!

I guess I will stick with computer games for a while and quit my whining too! AAhhhhh, that felt good though. So glas there are so many of you going through the same thing. I don't know how I would have gotten thru this with out these websites to calm my nerves. Thanks to all of you!!!!!

I feel your pain ladies, I wish I could have taught longer. I've been off since mid-September. I've made DH take me out, because I feel like i'm going stir crazy. We started the house hunt again so now all I do is read house listings and baby web pages. I insisted on going to the supermarket with my mom yesterday, and I paid for it with pain the nether region...but maybe that means their coming...I'm tired of being heavy, laying in bed, and I just want to turn over like a normal person. I am SOOO READY. 37 Weeks this Saturday, If they aren't out by then I'm going to ask the doc to induce...Good luck ladies, its nice to see I'm not the only one griping.

I can imagine how you must be feeling, but I STRONGLY URGE that you do anything that you want or can do now. I had major cabin fever the first couple of weeks AFTER the babies came. I worked right up until they were born, so I went through what you are going through now after the girls were here.

Do what you can now, because it's hard to get our with 2 newborn babies, especially if you are BFing.

Granted, once the babies come you have some more enjoyable things to do at home!

Maybe it would help things along if you did go out and do things? If you're not worried about going into labor you might as well not restrict your activity, KWIM?
