I know what I need to do.. I need to get my feet up more.. its been sooooo hard to do though. I just finished grocery shopping and by the time I got home I felt horribly crampy. I am not noticing any contractions.. and I am no stranger to BH's nor preterm labor so I think I am ok.. the crampy feeling is different from that.. its like a heaviness crampy feeling.. almost feels like my cervix will fall out

At 21 weeks.. did anyone feel like they would never be able to do anything normal again. I haven't even gone shopping for these 2 girls yet and I am afraid by the time I get a chance I won't be able to walk through a store to do it.

And holy heck.. I am getting kicked in the ribs already

Sorry you are feeling that way, but it is your body's way of telling you, you are doing too much!! Put your feet up woman and take it easy! :)

I am right there with you! I have had a very easy pregnancy up to this point (no morning sickness, good energy levels), but this Monday I was hit hard with my first bout of BH. I was so freaked out...and there wasn't much I could do here at work. Sitting didn't help, but when I got home and finally laid down (after A LOT of water), I started to feel so much better.

I had another bout on Wednesday (found a place where I could lay down at work), and today has been smooth sailing (knock on wood).

I, too, am worried I won't get anything done before the babies arrive. I am so scared to even consider shopping and registering this weekend! I just want to keep it low key, but I know I need to get things done.

Hang in there and take it as easy as you can (easier said, than done, right?!).

Oh wow, take it easy, girl! I'm only getting bh contractions once in a while, but that's completely normal. What does your doc say about the cramping?

I get a heaviness or tightening in my lower abdomen/pelvis when I'm standing up or walking around too much but my doctor said that as long as it goes away when I'm sitting, laying down it's just gravity.

Take it easy!!! Try to just do one "major" activity a day (ie, shopping) and be sure to put your feet up as much as possible. The alternative is NOT good! I was put on strict bedrest at 24 weeks and can't do anything!!!!!! I long for the days where I could just make myself a sandwich and clean up the kitchen. Showering is even a luxury since it's the only time I'm really allowed to get up.

Just take it easy and don't push yourself too much. Listen to your body....This whole twin thing is a completely different animal!!

I definitely felt a lot of pressure and heaviness that early on. I hope you are feeling better, Lisa

well laying down eases it almost instantly.. So I think I will keep a pillow on my couch and just lay down when I start to feel that way. I have an appointment on the 14th with my OB (first time seeing her) and I will bring this up.
