First of all we went in today for our 21 week u/s with the Peri. Everything looks great! Both twins are growing great and weighing in at 1lb. 2 oz. each! They are both vertex and I told them to stay that way! LOL! It was so neat to see all 4 little feet bundled up together! Baby B was kicking and laying on A and so A turned around and popped B a good one! It was so cute. Already at each other! :D

Well, we were told earlier at 16 weeks that they are both boys so we went in to confirm and guess what? A is definately a boy! B now looks like is a girl! So I guess we can't call them "Fred and George", any longer. It's frustrating. Baby B is very modest and doesn't want to open the legs to show anything. But she did get a good shot and couldn't be sure but was almost sure that she could see "girl parts". The thing is that I don't know what to think now. I really want to get started planning, but not knowing for sure is driving me crazy. She showed me what looked to be "girl parts" and what she believed to be "girl parts". What do you all think? Should I go with what the new u/s showed and believe boy/girl? I mean, I know they are older now, and much bigger than they were at 16 weeks. I really thought that they were going to be boy/girl from the beginning. Call it intuition or whatever, but that was what I was waiting for last time when they said boys. Okay, I am going to drive myself crazy trying to figure this out... some input from you ladies would be good! I don't know what to think.

The 21 week should be more accurate!

    Hmmmm
Well all my friends who have had girls had the same “modest issue” and my boys cant spread there legs and show there goods enough…
I would be going crazy too if I wasn’t a 100% right now… I often think of when our parent gave birth and you did know until birth… I know I wouldn’t have known different but THAT would drive me mad  …

Well, I"m sure that was a surprise! I'm sure you'll be paying close attention to the next appt/ultrasound! Congrats on a good appt.

Oh my goodness, that would drive me crazy too. I would have them double check again at the next u/s. Glad things are going well.

The exact same thing happened to us. We went to our Peri appt at 12wks for the genetic tri-screening and he told us both boys. Of course 12 wks is really early to tell, but boys were our mentality. Then we went back to the Peri at 16 wks and he now said boy/girl. Now at every OB appt I ask her to confirm, reconfirm and really reconfirm the sexes. I am pretty positive now they are boy/girl. I waited a couple weeks after we found out to start washing all the girl clothes we bought.

That's exciting. I bet it is B/G you were much further along this time.

They couldn't tell us for s ure what my baby B was either, turns out I had B/G , she was B.
I even asked as they were born just in case they were wrong!!

Yes, we did see the 3 lines. She even showed them to me. I am kind of inclined to believe that B is a girl, since I am further along than before. Especially after reading the pp. Thanks everyone for your comments. I am definately going to ask during the next u/s to confirm. My son was disappointed, to hear one of his "brothers" has turned into a sister! LOL! Poor guy. I told him at least he knows for certain that there is 1 brother coming. 1 is better than 0! ;)
