u/s today

so im almost 11 weeks and todays u/s went really good.. It was about 30 mins long and they measured both babies and took lots of pics and heard the heartbeats. The tech said she doesnt see a membrane and they are in same sac so this means indentical right? They were both lil jumping beans and baby A was kicking b in the head haha..they are fighting already ..just thought id share some good news

Glad you had a good appt. Yes, I believe that means identical.

 

My u/s looked a lot like yours - and if they're in the same chorionic sac then they're identical. However, they didn't see a membrane with mine until at least 16 weeks - but they did end up finding one, so mine are mono/di twins. The chances of them finding a membrane later are pretty good, I think only 1% of identical twins share an amniotic sac as well as share a chorionic sac! Sometimes it's just hard to find, it's so thin!

My membrane was hard to see the whole pregnancy. It was super thin. Glad they were healthy and active
