u/s today

We had our ultrasound today so the doctors could look at the babies organs and everything. Baby A was just not corporating. Baby B( boy) did perfect. I never knew that a twin ultrasound would take 2 hours. I was hurting so bad after that lady got done with me. It never occured to me that it would take twice the time since there were 2 to look at.

I was looking forward to today so much. I want to go ahead and buy their clothes and decorate their nursery and get everything ready. I know that in a couple of months I am going to be really big and am not going to feel like doing too much around here. I wanted to know BOTH of their sexes so bad. we already have two little boys so we wanted at least one of them to be a girl. This will be our last pregnancy so a girl is wanted very badly. Well twin A we still dont know the sex of. Twin A was not corporating. I was so upset that I did not find out Twin A's sex today. At least Twin B did a great job and we found out the is definately a boy.

The doctor did schedule another ultrasound in two weeks b/c they were not able to get as many pictures as they wanted to today of Twin A. Maybe then Twin A will cooperate so we can find out the sex. They also scheduled a fetal echo in three weeks to look at their hearts. I know I will know soon enough what that babies sex is. I will just have to have patience and wait. The ultrasound lady did say Twin A looked like a girl but she was not 100% sure and she told us not to run out and buy that baby anything just yet b/c she did not know the sex for sure.

The ultrasound lady said both twins were weighing in at 7 ounces each. She said they were good weights.

Sorry to hear that Baby A did not want to cooperate. Trying eating before you go to your next u/s so he/she is moving around more to get better pics.

We have a daughter, so we were really hoping for a boy, but nope...two girls! We were just not meant to have a boy. Now, I am kind of glad that it is two girls and cannot wait to see their sweet faces in a couple of months!!

My baby A never cooperates either and she's a girl. Maybe that's a good sign for you.

 

My Baby B Never corporates and its a Girl. WHen they try to get her Heartbeat shes moving around and kicking. My older Daughter did the same thing! Sendin :itwins: girlie vibes your way!!!

 

Wow! But at least you now one of your babies sexes. I had an u/s yesterday too. Not a detailed u/s like you had, but just a normal one. They weren't measuring everything and such. But we did find out the sex of our twins. We are having two boys. Just what we wanted too! I couldn't be happier!
