Hey everyone - Im curious if any of you have experienced this. I did IVF and transferred two blasts (one was more developed than the other). At my first u/s they saw two sacks but one was about twice the size of the other and the smaller one did not have a fetal pole (larger one did). Have any of you seen this and both ended up being healthy babies? I am only 6 wks. I just didnt know if it was possible for the smaller one to grow and catch up to the other one.

 Congratulations!! At my 5w3d appt. only one fetal pole was seen. By the time I went back at 6.5 weeks, the other fetal pole was there as well.

At 5.5 weeks we only saw ONE sac and yolk sac...then two weeks later found out there was ANOTHER sac and that both babies had beating hearts! Anything can happen still!!!!!!

At my 6w1d u/s we only saw 2 sacs but only one had a fetal pole. When we went back at 7 weeks there were 2 sacs and 2 fetal poles. Good luck and keep us posted!!
