U/S appt. update

Well, I got an extra ultrasound because I was measuring 4 weeks ahead. So, my BLOG (see sig) is updated with pictures. Feel free to leave a comment there or here! Basically it says: It's official...
... it really is a boy!! We had another ultrasound today because at my last OB appt. I was measuring 4 weeks ahead of schedule! Turns out he is measuring a week ahead of schedule and I do have a little extra amniotic fluid. Ok, stats for this ultrasound: Heart rate 146 (he was moving!), he is DEFINITELY a HE! Oh, and he weighs about 2lbs, 10oz (+/- 6oz). That is about it. We wouldn't have gotten this appt. if I wasn't measuring big, so we were very blessed to see his face again!

 

That's great news that everything is going fine, Jackie! I just looked back at my measurements from my last appt. and I was measuring 29 weeks when I was really only 26+weeks. I'm sure the u/s was reassuring though to know that everything is ok. Also, isn't it just so great to see them? Do they plan to adjust your due date because he's measuring a week ahead?

Great apt! I love the pics! That foot one is awesome. Glad to hear that all is going well. Goodluck with the toddler bed transition!

 

They do not adjust the due date as far as I know. They go by the first ultrasound period. It is definitely reassuring!

HOw exciting! Lucky you got gender confirmation. I'm still not 100% sure. We'll find out soon enough...hopefully.

 

How exciting! It is hard for me not having the constant reassurance via u/s with this pregnancy. Congratulations!

Glad to read that your little boy is growing so well! My how time flies when you are expecting.. seems like not that long ago we were writing about trying! Hope you continue to have a healthy pregnancy!

Ahhh, I see the face now. I'm sorry, I am so NOT good at seeing things on U/S's. What a cute face that is too!!
