I am sending hubby out to get some gripe water today to help relieve some of our daughter's gas problems. Is there a specific brand that works better than others? Should I just send him to a health food store? I read that I need to make sure it doesn't contain alcohol or sugar. Is there anything else to look for?

My only suggestion is Baby Bliss - sugar and alcohol free!

Do you get it at a health food store or somewhere else?

That's what I used also. I got mine at a healthfood store, I would call around, to make sure they have it in stock. You can also order it online. [IMG]

Kroger had an organic sucrose free (had fructose) and alcohol free version by wellements. It was on the top shelf in the baby section. Unfortunately we don't think it worked for us, but lots of people feel it was a lifesaver.

We used Baby Bliss, too. We found it at Long's Drugs, but they usually don't carry a lot so we would buy as much as we could at one time.

baby bliss here too from a natural food store. Most are fine, just get one with chamomile as it's not good for baby. I swore by this stuff and so does one of my friends who I gave an extra bottle to just a few weeks ago. It's also an instant cure for hiccups (which used to make my guys scream).

Hope it works for you! Shannon
